Job description

Wasson-ECE Instrumentation has been providing quality analytical solutions for over 35 years.   We are a global scientific instrument manufacturing company specializing in turnkey gas chromatography analyzers for chemical analysis. Our products serve customers in the petroleum/petrochemical, energy, environmental, and industrial chemical markets. Our production group takes pride in building quality specialized equipment.  

Responsibilities

  • Building instrumentation, electro-mechanical assembly 

  • Reading wiring diagrams and technical documents

  • Electrical wiring and tube routing

  • Maintaining inventory systems

  • Problem solving & troubleshooting

  • Manufacturing assemblies from raw material

  • Work as an individual and with others to meet team objectives

  • Maintaining & creating build documentation

Work Environment, Schedule, and Benefits

  • Work will generally be conducted in a production environment and require moderate lifting

  • This position requires no business travel

  • Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm

  • Overtime occasionally required

 

 

 

Job requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to read electrical and technical documentation

  • Proficient with hand and power tools

  • Experience with light shop equipment; band saw, grinders, shear, brake, etc.

  • Familiar with basic soldering 

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing inventory systems

  • Understands the importance of attention to detail

  • Values efficiency and personal growth

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand for periods at a time

  • Basic computer skills
